Research estimates that up to 30% of jobs could disappear as a result of automation by 2030. Automation and digitalization will also dramatically alter how activities/tasks are performed in another 30% of existing jobs. The actual proportion of work that will be  replaced will vary greatly among countries and depend on various factors that affect technological adoption. Coupled with demographics trends, globalization, climate change, changing consumer preference and business models, these trends mean that individuals will face deep uncertainties and rapid changes. Many will have to change occupation, while the rest will have to revamp their skills

In this virtual 2-day workshop, participants will learn how to think systematically about The Future of Work in 2030 through scenario planning exercises. The interactive workshop is designed to help participants:

• Learn about a complex issue, share perspectives, learn from each other, and integrate their knowledge
  about the topic.
• Perceive and anticipate opportunities and threats of long-term changes to create awareness and advance
  the strategic discourse on the topic.
• Familiarize all participants with a scenario planning methodology and promote individual, team, and organizational learning.
